  • Abstract
    A discussion of microwave radiation hazards by John M. Osepchuk of the Raytheon Company, Waltham, Mass., will highlight a joint meeting of the IEEE Long Island and New York Sections, with the cooperation of the Microwave Theory and Techniques Society, on November 16 at the Polytechnic Institute of New York, Farmingdale, N.Y. Dr. Osepchuk, a consulting scientist in Raytheon´s Research Division, will include a review of recent bioeffect research, stressing the importance of sound microwave engineering in establishing a realistic perspective in this field. The meeting will begin at 8 p.m., and will be preceded by a dinner, at 6 p.m., at the Crow´s Nest in Farmingdale.
