The models MDAS-16 and MDAS-8 are the industry´s first 12-bit data-acquisition systems fabricated with thin-film hybrid technology, according to the manufacturer. The devices incorporate a CMOS multiplexer; a programmable gain instrumentation amplifier; a sample-hold, 10-volt buffered reference; a 12-bit A/D converter; an address register; and the digital control logic into a 62-pin package that measures 5.84 by 3.56 by 0.61 cm.
