Abstract
The income-, value-, growth-, momentum-, and mania-driven styles have been explained, and the thinking behind each style outlined. These investing styles use various techniques associated with "fundamental" analysis and "technical" analysis. The goals for this issue are as follows: explain the difference between fundamental analysis and technical analysis; review the academic argument that technical analysis has no value; and provide a high-level overview of the basic techniques of technical analysis
