Abstract
Diagnostic test structures and extensive experimentation have quantified the performance effects associated with key device design features of crystalline silicon on glass solar cells, including the impact of contact density, cell isolation scribes, and metal patterning. Using these parameters in combination with suitable models, it is possible to optimize the design of these devices.
