Abstract
To measure the shielding effectiveness a method is proposed and an experimental laboratory-scale plant is created. It allows making measurements in a frequency band determined by an operation mode of lead rectangular waveguides on the principal wave type. The experimental plant is a volumetric resonator with a smoothly varying cross-section formed by two identical broadband pyramidal horns joined by opened sides.
