Abstract
Summary form only given. A SiO/sub 2/-doped Mn ferrite was prepared using high-energy ball milling and subsequent annealing. This material not only maintains the high M/sub s/ of Mn ferrite, but also possesses an increased electrical resistivity. XRD spectra are presented. The saturation magnetization and electrical resistivity annealing temperature dependences were studied.
