Abstract
Summary form only given The exchanged bias system GdFe/TbFe is a very flexible system from the magnetic point of view. The GdFe is a soft magnetic layer whose magnetisation is strongly pinned at one interface by the TbFe. When a high enough magnetic field is applied, the magnetisation of the GdFe tends to align with the field leading to the presence of a domain wall between the pinned interface and the free interface. It is possible to control the angle of the wall with the direction of the field and its thickness with the amplitude of the field. The in-plane resistance angular dependence of such bilayers have been investigated for different applied fields.
