Abstract
This paper presents an integrated system for industrial data acquisition and monitor using CDMA 1x communication technology. In the system, a Slave Control Module (SCM), which can cache incoming data in buffer in case of emergency to avoid package loss, is designed. The wireless data transmission of the system is implemented with Data Terminate Unit (DTU), which is designed with CDMA 1x technology for transferring data in real-time. The system also includes a Data Service Center (DSC) with MS SQL SERVER 2000 database. It is used to control the SCM and DTU as well as monitoring the data. Integrated with visual interface, working with control meters and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) on the scene, the system can be considered as a convenient, credible and steady data transmission system for industrial control.
