Abstract
Some of the waveguide junctions are useful to obtain polarization purity. In the case of junctions, the slot in the primary guide couples power to a secondary guide. The coupled guide may have different orientations and geometries. In the present work, a new waveguide junction is analyzed to obtain its admittance characteristics. In this junction, it is possible to design a square grid if the coupled guide is suitably oriented. The variation for few such junctions is obtained numerically. The data presented in this paper is useful for the design of both linear and planar arrays.
