Abstract
The Ligament Tensiometer is a device to be used during PCL reconstruction surgeries so as to increase success rates. It precisely measures the tension placed on the ligament during tightening to reduce improve reproducibility of proper tensioning. To achieve this, the force recorded by the device is correlated to the voltage output of a custom designed load recording device. Preliminary tests demonstrate that the load vs. voltage relationship is linear.
