  • Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present the study, the control and the simulation of the wind mill connected to the electrical supply network of strong power at variable speed based on a dual stator induction generator (DSIG). The study of operation of the wind turbine leads us to two essential cases: optimization of the power for wind speeds lower than the nominal speed of the turbine and limitation of the power for higher speeds. The research of the point of maximum capacity is carried out by using the traditional algorithm MPPT controlled in torque; however, for the limitation of the power, we operate only on the control of the generator. The converter intercalated between the DSIG and the electrical grid is AC/DC/AC type. Simulation results of the dynamic models of the wind generator are presented, for different operating zones, to show the performance of the proposed system.
