  • Abstract
    A novel PD (Partial Discharge) ultrasonic detection circuit has been developed based on low-noise, low power instrumentation amplifier AD620 and logarithmic detector AD8310. The ultrasonic detecting circuit signal to noise ratio, the sensitivity and the dynamic range has been improved. The sensitivity of this detection circuit was verified by the experiment in iron box. By testing, the sensitivity reaches -89dBm.
