Abstract
For distillation section of LAB plant, this paper analyzed difficulties in process control of the industrial distillation chain. APC-Hiecon, an APC software based on model predictive control strategy, then was used to solve these problems of the distillation chain. Successful application of APC improves disturbance rejection, operation of the columns and product quality, increases economic benefit of production while reducing product consumption.
