Abstract
A technique for determining the remaining discharge time of batteries is described. The calculation method, based on discharge characteristic function, is presented, together with a process for calculation of discharge capacity. A device to monitor the remaining discharge time of 10 types of batteries is developed. Digital indication with microprocessor control is shown to provide accurate indication for each of the battery characteristics
