Abstract
Distributed resources are connected to distribution feeders, and may have a significant impact on steady-state voltage control, overcurrent protection, reliability, and power quality. Distribution engineers may not be familiar with the appropriate analysis procedures, due to the radial nature of conventional distribution systems. A checklist framework helps the engineer quickly evaluate potential DR projects, and identify cases where more detailed modeling is necessary.
