  • Abstract
A study has been conducted to determine the electromagnetic interference effects in aqueducts which are parallel to a nearby transmission line. A mitigation system has been designed to reduce these interference levels. Field measurements have been carried out to verify the computed electromagnetic interference levels in the aqueducts during steady-state and fault conditions with mitigation installed. The results show that the measured interference levels are in good agreement with the computed data
