Abstract
This paper illustrates the importance of spectrum management which is closely related to the emerging technology. As devices of an electronic and electromagnetic nature grow in complexity, the capability of EMC is already of profound importance and will increase as we rely more and more upon technology. The article introduces some new work carried out in China, points out that CDMA will be the advanced technology in the area of effective usage of frequency spectrum resource and EMC issues, and describes the compatibility analysis between FPLMTS and space systems. It also discusses the definitions and conventions, applications of EMC in systems operations, and the policy review of the use and management of the radio spectrum
