Abstract
In this paper, Doppler shift in medium-earth equatorial (MEQ) and low-earth equatorial (LEQ) satellite constellations are investigated. Since Doppler shift changes as a function of the earth station latitude, the effect of changing the latitude of the earth station is also investigated. As the earth station latitude decreases, the instantaneous Doppler shift increases and the time interval for which the satellite is in line of sight of the earth station increases.
