  • Abstract
    The paper investigates failure localization in all-optical mesh networks using monitoring trails (m-trails) and monitoring trees (m-trees). By considering shared risk link groups (SRLGs) of different scenarios, integer linear programs (ILP) for m-trail/m-tree allocation are provided that can achieve unambiguous failure localization (UFL) of any single SRLG failure.
