Abstract
In order to lower the consumption of resources and energy, to stop and reduce pollution from the rejectamenta and deleterious materials, this essay tries to study the application of the selection of materials and the notion of environmental protective design in the urban sculpture planning from the point of view of facilitating benign circulation of ecological system, purporting to incarnate ecological notion, to create an near natural ecological environment beneficial to human health with a certain cultural meaning. The artists have developed various relative “ecological” sculpture materials for the sake of artistic creation through exploration and experiments so that a new ecological aesthetic value orientation has been generated that has blazed a trail for a new creation domain in urban sculpture planning.
