  • Abstract
    This article is about evaluation of heavy metals pollution in green area soil of Jilin city. 31 soil samples were collected from Jilin main traffic artery and preprocessed by aqua regia-perchloric acid digestion oxidation system. The content of heavy metals(Pb, Cr, Cd, Hg, As, Cu, Zn, Ni) was analyzed by ICP-OES. Adopting the Background value and standard deviation law method, single contamination index method, the Nemerow comprehensive contamination index method, the pollution were calculated to assess the pollution extent. The result showed that Pollution Index is up to 3.71 in green area soil of Jilin City street, The worst pollution is in Jiangbei industrial area (Zhengzhou road and Zunyi road),. With the different areas the elements exhibited a significant difference, from north to south. the distribution of heavy metals were Cd, Hg, As, Pb, Cu, Zn, Ni, Cr.
