Abstract
Multi-class object recognition has long been a difficult subject in pattern recognition studies. Based on the hierarchical process principle two novel recognition methods are introduced in this paper: the namely dynamic binary tree and dynamic multibranch tree methods. Experiments have shown that these two new approaches can be applied to over 20 classes of object with satisfactory results
