Research on grey prediction in possession of motor vehicles

Applying grey system theory, the paper has presented a motor vehicles possession Grey predicting model according to original data from 2005 to 2009. Then it useed residue error test, concentration factor deviation test, relational coefficient test and after-test residue checking to test the correctness of the GM(1,1) model. The results show that the accuracy of GM (1,1) model meet the requirements of forecasting precision of grey system. The paper has also forecasted the possession of motor vehicles in next few years correctly.
