  • Abstract
    The modeling and simulation of rendezvous and docking (R&D) are realized. The line of sight (LOS) dynamic model is built to describe the relative motion of R&D. The above model is used to research the changing of distance, pitch, and azimuth of LOS. The non-control system can´t accomplish R&D automatically. The sliding mode control is used to accomplish the flying around phase of R&D. Then, the control system is simulated. The results show the variables are all transferred to the final state successfully and the relative trajectory is desirable. Therefore, the model and control method are both effective for R&D.
