Abstract
Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

Various transmission control protocol (TCP) improvement schemes have been proposed to improve TCP performance over complex wireless networks. Some of them consider reducing the ACK packets, such as TCP-DBA. However, this scheme doesn´t perform so well in wireless network with high packet delay and multi-hop. In this paper, a new enhanced scheme has been proposed to improve TCP performance in such network. In TCP-LBA, TCP Receiver will reply ACK packet only when TCP Sender has finished sending all pieces within the same TCP Window and there are packets lost during transmission. This scheme greatly reduces the ACK packets number, eliminates the bad influence of delayed ACK packets on the efficiency of the data transportation and keeps transporting effective. Simulation results show that this proposed scheme could significantly improve TCP throughput and reduce delay over wireless networks, and it outperforms than TCP-DBA in wireless network with high packet delay and multi-hop.
