  • Abstract
Summary form only given. In previous research 1, it has been proved that PCDD/Fs in fly ash from municipal solid waste incinerators (MSWIs) can be effectively decomposed by gliding arc in tornado plasma(GAT), especially under N2/O2 condition. As further research, different fly ashes from fluid bed MSWIs (1# and 2# fly ash) are chosen to be disposed by GAT plasma under optimum operating condition, and destruction characteristics of dioxin in different fly ash are studed. What need be pointed is that on toxicity basis, 2# fly ash owns relatively low PCDD/Fs degradation efficiency(49.41%) compared with that of 1# fly ash (73.3%).
