Specifying rectifiers for electrochemical applications

This paper details the information that a purchaser of an industrial rectifier needs to provide to a potential vendor. Each of the major components of a rectifier system (the power system, cooling system, converter and control) is described, along with the key parameters needed to specify each. The emphasis is on rectifiers for electrochemical applications, although most of the paper is relevant for any large rectifier installation.
