  • Abstract
The provision of service needs effective management to guarantee QoS. Monitoring is the most important functions in service management to understand the status of the network. However, the integrated mobile service and network monitoring will impact deeply on the network traffic. Considering several proposed methods, the paper provides the framework of the monitoring mechanism for mobile service management, including the related mathematic reasoning and fault impact analysis, etc. The proposal mechanism tends to make the service manager monitor the network in a reasonable frequency and predict abnormal network behavior before the fault occurs.
