A Remote Monitoring System Based on Web and SNMP

According to the requirements of remote monitoring for TV transmitting station, presents a web-based centralized monitoring solution. In this solution, the ideas of network management system is put forward into the monitoring area, the device server is introduced as the agent of equipment controller, the simple network management protocol is used for data acquisition and equipment control. This Paper demonstrated the feasibility of the solution, introduced the architecture of the monitoring system, described the designs of equipment agent, monitoring server as well as monitoring client. Practical application shows that this solution can meet the needs of remote monitoring in heterogeneous network environment.
