Abstract
There are certain methods to calculate the microwave coefficients of absorption, emission and scattering by rough sea surface. These methods differ by their complication and completeness of description of interaction between microwave radiation and rough sea surface. The information in microwave radiometry is based on sea roughness, dispersion of the large sea wave slope distribution, and creation of foams on the ocean by wind. The development of simple and adequate procedures of utilization of the sea surface parameter distribution informations in calculations of interaction between microwave radiation and rough sea surface is very significant both for the remote sensing theory and its applications.
