Abstract
This paper presents a simplified 3-dB lumped-distributed Wilkinson power divider. The circuit is compact and planar. There are two lump components and two transmission lines with arbitrary length in the design. Closed-form design equations are given. The proposed circuit is verified with the design operating at 1 GHz. The circuit was realized with microstrip technology. The finished size is small and the circuit performances obtained from the experiment are very good.
