  • Abstract
In analog simulation programs, nonlinear controlled sources in combination with the principle of self-controlling allow highly efficient modelling of limiting effects. Several limiting functions which offer new ways for the precise modelling of single semiconductors as well as of complex analog devices are presented. Specific types discussed include modelling logic with fractional polynomial functions, improved limitations functions, and an analog-to-digital converter macromodel
