  • Abstract
Summary form only given. Alternating current plasma generators are of wide technological application. Now the problem of organic waste processing and synthesis-gas production using plasma technologies is world vital. The examined plasma generators are used in modern plasmachemical technological installations not only as independent devices, but also as current carrier injectors to insure reliable ignition of arcs of powerful plasma generators (up to 500 kW). Authors have carried out researches of a plasma torch with the purpose of parameter determination such as temperatures and concentration of plasma particles. Results of spectroscopic temperature measurements of a plasma torch reflect character of temperature variation depending on working gas flow" rate. Air is used as working gas. Measurements have been performed in approximation of local thermodynamic equilibrium.
