Abstract
In This study, Adaptive Angle Doppler Compensation (AADC) for Space-Time Adaptive Processing (STAP) in airborne bistatic radar is extended to increase signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) in processor output. In this method, compensation in spatial and Doppler frequencies is repeated in several stages to guarantee homogeneity of secondary data in estimation of covariance matrix. In new approach, subspaces of covariance matrix of clutter for all range gates are brought close together. For comparing the performance of new method with previous ones, clutter is simulated for a special scenario in Matlab. Simulation shows that in proposed approach, the enhancement is 2-3dB more than AADC.
