To study the success of Mayo Clinic by use of systems ethics

In 2009, the U.S. News and World Report magazine named Mayo Clinic a best hospital for 20th straight year, and ranked number 2 in the Honor Roll. In this paper, the basic reason of success of Mayo Clinic is studied by use of the concept of systems ethics. The initial development of systems ethics in Taiwan is presented first. Then, a brief review of the history of Mayo Clinic is made. Finally, the actual experiences of myself as a patient in Mayo Clinic are used to support the study.
