Medical informatics and the medical school curriculum

At Northwestern University Medical School, the program in medical informatics has developed in a setting of curricular reform that began with establishing institutional primacy in determining the conduct and content of the curriculum without diminishing individual departmental responsibility for conducting the educational process.
