Abstract
In this paper, a simple method for extracting fingerprint features is presented. Feature extraction is carried out with regard to system requirement, in order to safely save the biometrics. In the feature extraction stage of previous methods, fingerprint images should always be aligned in the beginning. In our method the features are extracted in such a way that rotation and translation have no effect on the data obtained, and hence we don´t need the alignment stage, which leads to easier implementation of biometric systems.
