Abstract
In traditional CNC systems, dense software-hardware design and inappropriate data interactive mode can not balance the computational capability and communication load. In order to increase the interoperability level of communication platform in CNC and alleviate resource competition, a kind of network architecture was proposed in this research. A resource-consumption and low coupling module was separated to reduce the processor burden. Real-time Ethernet (RTnet) was used for communication between remote modules to decrease network delay. Linux Real Time mechanism (LXRT) was adopted to ensure real-time performance of modules in user space. A hybrid interactive model instead of shared memory was presented to improve data interaction between local modules. A prototype system was developed and three comparative experiments based on it were carried out.
