In order to realize the sustainable development of rural tourism, China has to take the low-carbon road. According to the status and tendency of rural tourism development in China, the author has proposed the following countermeasures to increase china rural tourism development: to keep the idea of low-carbon tourism development in order to realize the striding development of rural tourist attractions construction; to draw up the strategic plan and regulation system of rural tourism development under the circumstances of low-carbon economy pattern; to strengthen the international cooperation and communication; to use the advanced theory and technology from abroad into rural tourism development.
