Software tool for planning wireless local area networks (WLAN)

A software tool for planning wireless local area networks is presented in this paper. Due to the great growth of radiocommunication systems based on WLAN technologies, it is necessary a tool which allows to schedule this type of networks. This is a software that can calculate, for example, the path loss, the received power, the throughput and the coverage of the network which is being deployed. This application also allows to plot the plan (interior scene) or the map (exterior scene) of the site where the network is placed. This is an easy to use software that makes possible to obtain the results quickly
