Abstract
Reuse technologies for increasing the productivity of switching software development and for improving the software quality are described. Through analysis of switching systems, the most appropriate reuse method, the object-oriented method, is determined. To enhance reuse ability, an object-oriented database (OODB) for reusable switching software components is constructed. The OODB architecture and its features are described
