  • Abstract
"Digital Platform" is an inevitable concept to minimize time and effort to develop digital consumer products, anything from silicon to contents and services. The concept naturally guides to a SoC design methodology, where reusable IP strategy, together with effective on-chip bus structure(s), should play important roles. Technology should not restrict the digital platform concept, thus the device architecture should support the device structure to be configurable for real top-down design and verification. Removable silicon media will become also vital for total hypermedia solutions.
