Abstract
Electric power system of general industrial plants usually has many induction motors as loads. The influence of voltage sags can cause big disturbances on the system, depending upon the kind and composition of the loads, like having large induction motors which display constant power characteristics for fluctuation of voltage. Analysis and simulation software for electric power system analysis is essential to quantitatively evaluate this phenomenon. This paper presents the results of analysis of the influence of voltage sags that is carried out in an electrical power system model.
