  • Abstract
    Many electronic circuits and systems operating at low voltages are battery-powered. As a linear voltage regulator is used to this end, it has to be characterized by a high power efficiency, which can be achieved by a low voltage drop (LDO) across a pass element. In this paper a d.c. model of the voltage regulator LDO REG 104-5 V is presented. The theoretical considerations are illustrated by the results of measurements and calculations.
