Abstract
Paths between transmitter and receiver could be determined based on geometric optics in straight rectangular tunnels. Later on, the united theory of diffraction is used to calculate receiving power. This method could also be applied to other tunnels with different cross section. From the results of simulation and theory, this method has the same exactness as dedicated software, as well as lower complexity of computing.
