  • Abstract
With the development of new generation personal communication service network (PCS), the system needs the ability to support enhanced data rate and the traffic with different quality of service (QoS). The wireless mobile channel with time varying statistic characteristics becomes the bottleneck of transmission. Therefore, the challenge is to design advanced link layer protocol efficiently utilizing the channel under guaranteed QoS. In this paper, we try to solve the problem by using adaptive wideband signaling and multiple antenna diversity techniques and focus on the forward link performance in direct sequence spread spectrum multiple access (DS-SSMA) wireless network.
