  • Abstract
    The integrity of the compensating capacitors of UM71 track circuit has a direct influence on the reliable operating of the track circuit and the cab signaling device. For this purpose, a wavelet analysis based method is proposed in this paper to detect the integrity of the compensating capacitors of UM71 track circuit, by making use of the recorded data in the cab signal recorder. The results of laboratory simulation and the calculation based on actual data from railway site shows that this method is simple for use, fast for integrity detection, highly accurate, thus being suitable for the practical application on railway site
