Research on the characteristic of fractal patterns of the relationship between input and output of Zhejiang province

In order to analyze the input-output structure in urban areas of China, this paper investigated the characteristic of fractal patterns of Zhejiang province using the model of fractal structure of the urban areas and that of C-D function. Labor, land, investment and energy are chosen as the input factors and GDP the output factor, and the dynamic similarity analysis is carried out on the relationship between the factors of input and output during the year of 1990–2008. The results demonstrate that there is apparent characteristic in time series, and the scale factor b presented in this paper is of the character of fractional dimension. And in addition, we can reach the conclusion that the structure of the input-output system in urban areas of Zhejiang is on optimizing.
