  • Abstract
The authors describe the economic developments that are providing nuclear power with a potential new market, and offer general suggestions regarding what managers and custodians of nuclear technology must do to take advantage of this developing opportunity. This potential market is connected with the possibility of increasing electric load growth in the United States well into the 1990s. Ways to improve the competitiveness of nuclear power are discussed.<>
