Abstract
Programmable logic controllers play an irreplaceable role in the control of technological processes. In the field of metallurgy, but also in in other industrial branches play an important role in processes of cooling and heating materials. One of the fields is then industrial heating furnace. The article aims to outline the possibility of modelling of thermal fields in the material and the implementation of these models in programmable logic controllers.
